DESCRIPTION:If you had a baby in the last 34 years in northern New Jersey\, we supported your birth. We are a partner in progress working alongside families\, clinicians\, and advocates to transform maternal health. Our work begins with healthcare professionals. We work with all local birthing hospitals and centers to improve the quality of care through data analysis\, leadership meetings\, and professional education opportunities. \nHaving a baby\, even under the best circumstances\, is hard. We can help. Each year\, we serve over 50\,000 families in Northern New Jersey through 30 vital community programs. We offer free maternal home visitation programs\, doula initiatives\, emotional support for new parents\, family success centers\, teen programs\, and health education initiatives on immunizations\, childhood lead poisoning prevention\, and more. \nBecause we work with providers and the community\, we know what it takes to change the system. We are uniquely positioned between healthcare providers and the patient to best advocate for lasting changes to improve maternal health care. \nThis year\, we are thrilled to join the Hudson County Chamber of Commerce‘s Hudson Gives donation drive coming up on May 14.
