LOCATION: Newark, NJ/Hybrid
CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time – 37.5 hours/week (Evening and weekend as needed)
ANNUAL SALARY: $60,000
JOB SUMMARY:
Facilitate two cohorts of community-based doula training using the HealthConnect One model. Oversee Doula facilitators and Doula Training Programs. Report to the Chief Education and Learning Officer.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Serve as a facilitator for both cohorts of the community-based doula training curriculum using the HealthConnect One (HCO) model.
- Manage needs of hosting in-person and virtual meetings/ trainings, including but not limited to room set-up, AV needs, and refreshments.
- Facilitate communication between trainees and program administrators/clinical sites.
- Facilitate communication between training facilitation team and Chief Education and Learning Officer
- Manage the BrightSpace Learning Management Platform and provide technical support to facilitators and trainees as needed.
- Maintain trainee files, including documentation required to participate in on-site clinical observations and complete certification, including but not limited to immunization documentation, session attendance, clinical observations, and CPR certification.
- Handle other assignments as requested.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Completed HealthConnect One Training of Trainers required
- Certification in childbirth education, lactation, and/or infant mental health preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, Social Work, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Computer literacy
- Minimum 1 year of meeting facilitation and program planning experience
- Self-directed, ability to speak to large groups of people of varying demographics
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
