Incorporating a Donor Milk Program into the Hospital Setting – Virtual Presentation and Q&A
On-Demand Presentation and Discussion
Recorded on August 16, 2023
Donor milk can provide an opportunity for families to exclusively breastfeed during challenges in the first few days after the birth, but donor milk is often only available in the hospital to newborns in the NICU, if at all. It can be overwhelming for hospitals to know where and how to start a program to offer this invaluable service to new families. This virtual presentation is an opportunity to learn directly from leaders of a robust donor milk program at a New Jersey medical center and to attend a virtual “tour” of a milk bank.
