DESCRIPTION:Free Movie Screening and Community Discussion\n“Toxic: A Black Woman’s Story” is a powerful short film by First Year Cleveland that highlights the dire impact of the Black Maternal Health Crisis and systemic racism on Black families. Plainfield First Lady Amelia Mapp and Julienne Cherry\, Plainfield Councilwoman-At-Large\, First & Fourth Ward\, and President & CEO\, of the United Way of Greater Union County\, will begin the event with opening remarks and the screening will be followed by a community discussion led by the Partnership for Maternal and Child Health of Northern New Jersey about birthing in New Jersey and advocating for maternal health equity.  \n6:30 PM – Registration and Refreshments\n7:00 PM – Program and Screening will promptly begin\n8:30 PM – Event Concludes \nFree refreshments will be served. Registration is appreciated but not required. \nThank you to our partners – the City of Plainfield and the United Way of Greater Union County. \n
