Andre’s Armor, by Dr. Mohamed Jalloh, tells the story of Andre, a child who does not want to get his shots. Andre goes on a journey through a magical land where he learns how the body protects itself from germs and how vaccines help.
The Partnership staff has been using Andre’s Armor as an educational tool for more than a year by hosting community reading events and immunization fairs. The response from parents and children has been very positive.
