POSTPARTUM MENTAL HEALTH AND DEPRESSION SUPPORT GROUPS & RESOURCES
Emotional well-being is a core component of your mental health. Caring for your emotional well-being is as important as taking care of your physical needs.
We offer free support groups and resources that are focused on mental health and depression during pregnancy, postpartum during pregnancy, postpartum, and new motherhood, including phone support, virtual support groups, community education programs, and the referrals & resources you need to care for your mental health.
In addition to our virtual support groups, we host a variety of in-person community events throughout the year including community baby showers, health discussions, webinars, and a day of remembrance for those who have lost a child. View our events page to see upcoming activities.
Our perinatal mental health team can provide resources to help parents who coping with infertility, miscarriage, stillbirth, and infant loss.
We collaborate with member hospitals, health centers, mental health clinicians, and community-based organizations in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Morris, Passaic, Sussex, Union, and Warren Counties to provide these free services. Several times a year, we offer professional education programs on trending topics in postpartum mental health and depression.
