Success Center
The Excellence Family Success Center (EFSC) is a family-friendly neighborhood center that provides free services and resources to residents of Dover and the surrounding communities to families in need.
Excellence Family Success Center (EFSC) offers one-on-one support, educational workshops, community groups, parent/child activities, employment support, information and referrals, and advocacy, especially for families in need. Free fitness classes, nutritional events, and a monthly free farmers market promote healthy eating and wellness.
The EFSC’s Community Advisory Board and volunteers help plan and coordinate large and small activities throughout the year. Our staff members speak English and Spanish, but all are welcome.

Parent-Child Activities
The Excellence Family Success Center hosts a variety of free parent-child activities all year, including art classes, holiday celebrations, and more. Parent-child activities help strengthen family bonds and are fun! Check here monthly for the latest upcoming activities. Registration is encouraged.
Homework Assistance Program
This innovative program supports grammar school students from multilingual homes with their homework. The extra assistance gives students the confidence and support to thrive in school.
Citizenship Classes

Free Farmers Market
The Free Farmers Market is held on the first Wednesday of every month (weather permitting.) Through the generosity of local community organizations, the Community Food Bank of New Jersey, SNAP, and local farms, this even provides free fresh fruits and vegetables to local families in need. Additionally, participants can access free health resources. Families in need must get a monthly voucher from the Excellence Family Success Center or another local non-profit to participate.
Connecting Dover
Connecting Dover is a coalition of community organizations committed to supporting Dover area residents. The non-profit, government, and civic groups share resources and plan community events. The group meets virtually every month. New members are welcome to join.
Volunteers
Volunteers help the Excellence Family Success Center thrive! We welcome volunteer groups to participate in our Free Farmers Market. Individual volunteers are welcome to help with various monthly programs and provide administrative assistance.
