Perinatal Addictions
Prevention Project
Dangerous substances such as alcohol, drugs, and tobacco have critical effects during pregnancy. The Perinatal Addictions Prevention Project (PAPP) focuses on educating about substance use prevention during pregnancy. We serve Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Morris, Passaic, Sussex, Union, and Warren Counties.

Our goals
- Work alongside prenatal care specialists to support screening and provide prevention education to pregnant and parenting individuals on the risks of alcohol, drug, and tobacco use.
- Provide professional and consumer education on a variety of topics related to substance misuse across the lifespan.
- Support the community through events and health fairs by providing information on the impact of substance use among the childbearing-age population
