In a major win for maternal and child health in New Jersey, former Governor Murphy signed four new bills to strengthen health outcomes for mothers and infants into law earlier this year. Not only does this new legislation support New Jersey parents and children, but it also advances our mission at the Partnership. We believe that all people must have access to safe, respectful births, and that every family deserves the chance to thrive.

FELLAS® Free Fatherhood Program Launches in Two New Counties
The Partnership for Maternal and Child Health of Northern New Jersey is thrilled to announce the expansion of our FELLAS® (Fathers Empowered to Learn, Lead, and Achieve Success) fatherhood program to include Hudson and Passaic counties in addition to Essex. Originally launched in Essex County in 2021, FELLAS® is an innovative Partnership program that engages fathers to promote healthy relationships, strengthen parenting skills, and increase economic stability through employment training and support.

Maternal Health Awareness Takes Center Stage as We Ring the Nasdaq Bell

The closing ceremony, broadcast from Nasdaq’s MarketSite, was streamed live from the heart of Times Square and televised to a global audience.
