PRENATAL AND POSTPARTUM SUPPORT FOR NEW MOMS & PARENTS
Having a baby, even under the best circumstances, can be hard. We’re here to help. Emotional well‑being is a core part of your mental health, and caring for it is as important as caring for your physical needs.
We offer free support groups and resources focused on mental health throughout your journey, including pregnancy (prenatal), after birth (postpartum), and throughout new motherhood. Our services include Emotional Health Phone Support (EHPS), virtual support groups, community education programs, and referrals and resources for anyone who could use some extra support.
We are here for mothers experiencing postpartum depression and/or anxiety, those who have experienced pregnancy or infant loss, and any expecting or new parent who needs it. To connect with us, please call 973-268-2280 or fill out the contact form below.
IN-PERSON AND VIRTUAL PRENATAL AND POSTPARTUM SUPPORT GROUPS FOR NEW MOMS
In addition to our virtual prenatal and postpartum support groups, we host a variety of in-person community events throughout the year, including community baby showers, health discussions, webinars, and a day of remembrance for those who have lost a child. View our events page to see upcoming activities.
Our perinatal mental health team can provide resources to help parents who are coping with infertility, miscarriage, stillbirth, and infant loss.
We collaborate with member hospitals, health centers, mental health clinicians, and community-based organizations in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Morris, Passaic, Sussex, Union, and Warren Counties to provide these free services.
EMOTIONAL HEALTH PHONE SUPPORT (EHPS) PROGRAM
The Emotional Health Phone Support (EHPS) Program at the Partnership offers free, confidential phone support to individuals during pregnancy, after delivery, and for those who have experienced pregnancy or infant loss. The program provides a safe, caring space to talk, helps reduce feelings of isolation, and connects parents to helpful resources such as support groups and mental health services. EHPS is not therapy or crisis care but focuses on listening and guiding individuals to the right support when needed. This program helps ensure families feel supported and connected throughout the perinatal period.
To be connected to the program, please contact us at 973-268-2280.
