This program will review the basic essentials of conducting a home visit for birthing parents and newborns. Topics will include steps of conducing a home visit safely, maternal and newborn assessment, infant feeding challenges, addressing emergencies, and community resources and referrals. Participants will have opportunity for questions, discussions, and learning from each other.

At the conclusion of the program, participants will report an increase in knowledge and skill to effectively and safely conduct perinatal home visits.
