JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting the Unity Family Success Center (FSC) team with providing information and resources to Unity FSC families, and assisting with carrying out workshops and activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Welcome participants to the Unity FSC, encourage completion of a welcome form, and assess services needed.
- Promote the Unity FSC upcoming activities and events.
- Provide information and referrals to participants based on assessment of needs and requested services.
- Assist with the coordination of various activities, workshops, and events.
- Accurately complete required tracking forms for reporting purposes, in a timely manner.
- Attend meetings and trainings as requested by supervisor.
- Handle other assignments as requested.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Associate’s degree with a concentration in social work, community health, sociology, or related fields. Experience working within diverse communities. Community health promotion experience is preferred. Comunicating with empathy and without judgement is required. Computer literacy is required. Bilingual English/Haitian Creole is preferred.
