The Step Up Vax Up 2023-2024 campaign has officially launched! The Step Up Vax Up campaign is a statewide initiative to promote peer-to-peer immunization education through digital content creation. The campaign is a collaboration between the New Jersey Department of Health and the Partnership for Maternal and Child Health of Northern New Jersey.
Now in its third year, Step Up Vax Up inspires college students to use creativity and innovation to promote vaccine awareness. The program is also committed to promoting health equity and immunization education across New Jersey campuses.
For the last 2 years, the program primarily focused on the COVID-19 vaccine. For the 2023-2024 campaign, entry criteria has been expanded to include the Influenza, Meningococcal, and Human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccines.
