“Toxic: A Black Woman’s Story” Screening in Bayonne

September 25 - 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Join us on Wednesday, September 25 from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm for this free short film screening and discussion  hosted by Pastors Andre and Tammy Blount. This free community event will take place at the Power for Living Christian Cultural Center, 813 Broadway, in Bayonne.

“Toxic: A Black Woman’s Story” is a powerful short film by First Year Cleveland that highlights the dire impact of the Black Maternal Health Crisis and systemic racism on Black families. Following the film, the Partnership for Maternal and Child Health of Northern New Jersey will lead a discussion about birthing in New Jersey and advocating for maternal health equity.

6:30 PM – Registration and Refreshments
7:00 PM – Program and Screening will promptly begin
8:30 PM – Event Concludes
