For the fourth year in a row, we kicked off Black Maternal Health Week by partnering with the Montclair Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta for their annual Strong Starts Community Baby Shower. Nearly 100 new and expectant moms attended the joyous celebration in Newark last weekend.

Cutting the Ribbon on the Partnership’s New Secaucus Headquarters
We celebrated the opening of our new Secaucus headquarters with a ribbon-cutting and open house on Thursday, March 19. With support from the Hudson County Chamber of Commerce, community members and leaders, including Secaucus Mayor Michael Gonnelli, partner organizations, supporters, and staff, the Partnership marked this exciting milestone.

These themes defined the 9th annual Maternal Health and Perinatal Safety Symposium hosted by the Partnership’s Center for Clinical Impact at Montclair State University. The sold-out event united health professionals, including nurses, obstetricians, midwives, doulas, community health workers, social workers, therapists, public health leaders, policy makers, and more, to build the future of maternal and child health in New Jersey and beyond.
