Building Breastfeeding Support: From Evidence to Practice

Every lactation journey is unique and often brings unexpected challenges at various touchpoints. Compassionate and knowledgeable support can make a lasting difference for lactating parents and their families. This conference is designed to empower lactation consultants, breastfeeding counselors, perinatal nurses, home-visiting nurses, doulas, and other perinatal professionals with current research, practical tools, and essential resources. Participants will gain knowledge and confidence to enhance their care and support to families throughout the lactation experience.

Continuing Nursing Education Contact Hours: This program has been awarded 3.5 contact hours. The Partnership for Maternal and Child Health of Northern New Jersey is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by New Jersey State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Successful Completion: To receive contact hours for this continuing education program, the registrant must sign in on the sign-in sheet, attend the entire conference, and complete and submit an online evaluation. Certificates of completion will be distributed electronically within two weeks of the event.
