The Partnership for Maternal and Child Health is hosting a free event for pregnant women and women with infants to learn about the available resources in Morris County and to introduce Family Connects NJ, a new statewide nurse home‑visiting program. Family Connects NJ provides one free home visit from a registered nurse to all families welcoming a new baby, starting in December 2025, regardless of income, insurance, or immigration status. The program officially launches in Morris County in January 2027.

Every lactation journey is unique and often brings unexpected challenges, particularly in the early days and months. Compassionate and knowledgeable support can make a lasting difference for lactating parents and their families. This conference is designed to empower lactation consultants, breastfeeding counselors, perinatal nurses, home-visiting nurses, doulas, and other perinatal professionals with current research, practical tools, and essential resources. Participants will gain the skills and confidence to provide empathetic, effective care and long-term support throughout the lactation experience.
This AWHONN course addresses principles of fetal heart monitoring and may be used as a knowledge assessment tool to validate the comprehension of experienced perinatal clinicians.
