We celebrated the opening of our new Secaucus headquarters with a ribbon-cutting and open house on Thursday, March 19. With support from the Hudson County Chamber of Commerce, community members and leaders, including Secaucus Mayor Michael Gonnelli, partner organizations, supporters, and staff, the Partnership marked this exciting milestone.

2026 Symposium: Building the Future of Maternal Health and Perinatal Safety Together
Interdisciplinary. Collaborative. Community-driven. Comprehensive care. These themes defined the 9th annual Maternal Health and Perinatal Safety Symposium hosted by the Partnership’s Center for Clinical Impact at Montclair State University. The sold-out event united health professionals, including nurses, obstetricians, midwives, doulas, community health workers, social workers, therapists, public health leaders, policy makers, and more, to build the future of maternal and child health in New Jersey and beyond.
Advancing Skills, Saving Lives: The Center for Clinical Impact’s Premier Maternal Healthcare Training
The Partnership’s Center for Clinical Impact is a hub for advancing maternal healthcare by providing patient-centered clinical education opportunities. Nurses, doulas, midwives, and other maternal healthcare workers benefit from innovative professional education, gaining skills to deliver safer, higher-quality clinical care and better patient outcomes.
New Laws Advance Maternal and Child Health Equity
In a major win for maternal and child health in New Jersey, former Governor Murphy signed four new bills to strengthen health outcomes for mothers and infants into law earlier this year. Not only does this new legislation support New Jersey parents and children, but it also advances our mission at the Partnership. We believe that all people must have access to safe, respectful births, and that every family deserves the chance to thrive.
Maternal Health Awareness Takes Center Stage as We Ring the Nasdaq Bell
Mariekarl Vilceus-Talty, MA, BSN, Partnership President & CEO, commemorated Maternal Health Awareness Day by ringing Nasdaq’s closing bell on Friday, January 23. The closing ceremony, broadcast from Nasdaq’s MarketSite, was streamed live from the heart of Times Square and televised to a global audience. We commemorate this important day every day with our work at the Partnership for Maternal and Child Health of Northern New Jersey.
